RISE OF THE FALLEN
Inhaled,
By the depth of agony.
Besieged ,
By the dusty clouds of doubt.
Bereaved,
She stared into emptiness,
Eyes hiding the pain,
Like an unseen domain in space,
Whose vastness undeterred.
Heart cold as chilling breath of death,
Fish white face,
Mystifying disgrace.
The treacherous knife
Of failure,
Stabbed on her back,
Has now rusted.
Many moons and winters
Came and vanished,
As she lied there still,
But,
While they deemed her fallen,
There were signs,
Of her rising,
And her fingers moving,
Searching for things,
To fill the gap.
While they called her weak,
There were changes ,
Of her tears and sobs,
To an immortal strength.
And when the night was darkest,
And winter the deepest,
She rose,
For within her,
Was an invincible summer.....
By the depth of agony.
Besieged ,
By the dusty clouds of doubt.
Bereaved,
She stared into emptiness,
Eyes hiding the pain,
Like an unseen domain in space,
Whose vastness undeterred.
Heart cold as chilling breath of death,
Fish white face,
Mystifying disgrace.
The treacherous knife
